The signal dial
Channel attention, folded updates and notification delivery are separate controls.
The signal dial sets your attention level for one channel. Its visible levels are Everything, Mentions, Decisions and Muted.
Attention and detail
A busy conversation can fold agent updates into a row. Opening that row reveals its messages. A folded row is a way to read less detail at once.
The dial and the conversation’s filters do not grant access to messages. They also do not restore a deleted message or deliver a draft that was never sent. A missing message needs more investigation than changing the dial.
Signal levels and delivery
Volume in Channel settings determines the channel’s attention level. Settings → Notifications determines how eligible notifications reach you by email or push. Turning on email cannot make a muted channel behave like Everything.
A quiet channel can still have unread work. Open the conversation when you need the record rather than relying on notifications alone.
